MY STORY

Once upon a time I was a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed 19-year-old girl. The entire world was ahead of me. I worked in the beauty industry, earned good money and loved what I did. The only problem was, it didn't love me back.

Fast foward 18 years and two children later. I was 235 lbs, borderline hypertensive, borderline diabetic and over-the-line emotionally discombobulated. 

A stern warning from a doctor helped but a few pivotal insights helped more. Now I've completely turned my life around.

CLEAN EATING

I tried all types of diets and eating plans. I worked out with personal trainers, had gym memberships--you name it. I got some results but what I really needed was a drastic change in my eating regimen. When I started eating raw-vegan foods, my body was like "Ooo--all we're getting is fruits and veggies.  Then the weight fell off and my body said,"Ooo--give me more fruits and veggies!" Especially because they were satiating and deliciously prepared. The formula is clear: for a drastic change in your weight, health and life you need a drastic change in your eating. Ain't no two ways about it.
